Over the years, he built a strong reputation for professionalism and commitment while serving on the road and in various assignments. In 2018, he was promoted to detective and assigned to the Juvenile Aid Bureau within the department’s Detective Bureau, where he handled sensitive investigations involving juveniles with care and diligence.
In addition to his investigative responsibilities, Detective Chazan served as a defensive tactics instructor, mentoring and preparing the next generation of officers.
