Clarkstown Police Department Promotes Sgt. Matt Dowen and Detective Ryan Davan

The Clarkstown Police Department has announced the promotions of two distinguished officers in recognition of their dedication and service to the community.

Sgt. Matt Dowen, a veteran of the department for over 11 years, has served as a patrol officer and field training officer. He is also an active member of the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) and the department’s Honor Guard.

Detective Ryan Davan, with more than 16 years of service, has held various roles throughout his career, including patrol officer, member of the Street Crime Unit, and participant in both CIRT and the Honor Guard.
