Clarkstown Police Department Bids Farewell to Longtime Dispatch Coordinator Rich Cummings

After more than three decades of dedicated service, Rich Cummings has retired from his role as Dispatch Coordinator with the Clarkstown Police Department.

Cummings, a highly respected figure in emergency communications, was recognized for his excellence in 2005 when he was honored as Dispatcher of the Year by the Rockland County 911 Dispatchers Association. In 2010, he was promoted to Dispatch Coordinator, where he managed critical dispatch technology, ensuring smooth operations at the 911 Communications Center.

His expertise and leadership played a pivotal role in enhancing emergency response capabilities, and his contributions to public safety will have a lasting impact on the community.
