The Town of Clarkstown Police Department is bidding farewell to two of its distinguished officers, Niles Davies and John Mullins, as they embark on their well-deserved retirements.
Police Officer Niles Davies, who has been with the department since September 1990, is retiring after a commendable career. Starting as a dedicated patrolman, he transitioned to the Community Policing Unit in 2020. His exemplary service included roles as a Field Training Officer and a member of the Office of Emergency Management, where he was instrumental in training and assisting fellow officers. Officer Davies has made a lasting impact on both the department and the community, known for his compassion and professionalism. The department extends its heartfelt congratulations to Officer Davies and wishes him all the best in his retirement.
Police Officer John Mullins is also retiring after more than 32 years in law enforcement. Officer Mullins began his career with the NYPD in 1992 before joining the Clarkstown Police Department in February 2004. Over the past two decades, he has served with pride and distinction. In 2017, he took on the important role of D.A.R.E. officer, educating the community’s youth about the dangers of substance abuse and encouraging them to make positive life choices. Officer Mullins’ dedication has been an invaluable asset to the town of Clarkstown. The department congratulates Officer Mullins on his retirement and expresses gratitude for his service.
Both officers have left indelible marks on the Clarkstown community, and their contributions will be remembered for years to come.
