Clarkstown Police Chief Jeffrey Wanamaker Honored At Walk-Out Ceremony Marking Retirement After 39 Years

Clarkstown Police Chief Jeffrey Wanamaker was honored Thursday afternoon during a walk-out ceremony at Clarkstown Police Headquarters, marking his retirement after nearly four decades of service to the town.

Wanamaker, who served the Clarkstown Police Department for 39 years, was recognized for his leadership, dedication, and distinguished career in law enforcement. Colleagues, staff, and community members gathered to pay tribute as he concluded his long-standing tenure.

Among those in attendance were Senator Bill Weber and Hatzoloh EMS Captain Abe Rosenberg, who joined in honoring the longtime chief at the ceremony.

Officials and staff expressed their appreciation for Wanamaker’s partnership and commitment to public safety, wishing him continued success and a well-deserved, happy retirement.
