Clarkstown Officials Honor Councilman Mark Licker as He Concludes His Service on the Town Board

Town of Clarkstown officials and employees gathered this week to recognize Mark Licker for his service on the Town of Clarkstown Town Board, honoring his dedication to the community and wishing him continued success in his future endeavors.

Licker was first elected to the Clarkstown Town Council in November 2024 and was defeated in his November 2025 reelection bid by Republican Jon Valentino. A longtime New City resident since 1986, he has also maintained his law practice in New City since 1988, bringing decades of professional and civic experience to his role on the Town Board.

“It was a great honor for me to serve on the Town Board,” Licker said in a statement. “I want to thank my colleagues on the Board and the many town employees who supported me and helped me navigate the process.”
