CLARKSTOWN: Officials Celebrate Little League Opening Day Across Town

The Town of Clarkstown marked the start of Little League season with Opening Day celebrations held at fields throughout the town, as Supervisor George Hoehmann and members of the Town Board visited multiple locations to join young athletes and their families. Congressman Mike Lawler and Senator Bill Weber were also in attendance, showing their support and taking part in the festivities surrounding America’s pastime.

During the events, Nanuet Little League players Grace and Colton were recognized as recipients of the Freddy Massa Memorial Scholarship, highlighting their achievements both on and off the field.

Town officials also expressed appreciation to the many coaches who dedicate their time to developing players’ skills and fostering teamwork and sportsmanship. As the season gets underway, players were encouraged to work hard, continue learning, and most importantly, enjoy the game as Clarkstown looks ahead to a successful Little League season.
