Clarkstown Honors Local Heroes at Annual Veterans Appreciation Lunch

The Town of Clarkstown hosted its annual Veterans Appreciation Lunch on Friday at Zukor Park, paying tribute to the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The event served as a powerful reminder to thank and support veterans in Clarkstown and across Rockland County for their selfless sacrifices made overseas to keep our communities safe at home.

Among the honored guests was Barry Fixler, a Marine Corps veteran and longtime advocate for servicemembers, who delivered an inspiring speech sharing his personal story and experiences on behalf of the many veterans within the community.

Congressman Mike Lawler and Supervisor George Hoehmann both addressed attendees, expressing deep gratitude and reassurance that the service and dedication of America’s veterans will never be forgotten.
