Chimney Fire in Airmont Promptly Contained, No Injuries Reported

Firefighters and other emergency personnel responded to a reported fire at a home on Christmas Hill Road near Laura Drive on Thursday morning. Initial reports indicated a potential structure fire, prompting a swift response from local fire departments.

Upon arrival, crews determined that the blaze was confined to the chimney and had not spread to the rest of the residence. Thanks to the quick action of first responders, the fire was contained, and no injuries were reported.

Authorities are reminding residents to ensure regular maintenance of chimneys and heating systems to prevent similar occurrences.
