In a tense incident at the Spring Valley Costco, a child was left unattended in a car for approximately 20 minutes. The child, who was sweating heavily, but remained conscious and alert, was rescued after emergency personnel were called to the scene.
Responding to the call were Hatzolah, Chaverim, Nanuet EMS, Spring Valley Fire Department, and Clarkstown Police. Upon arrival, the responders quickly assessed the situation and broke the car window to free the child.
Authorities confirmed that the child is expected to make a full recovery, and a name for Tehilim is not needed. This incident serves as a crucial reminder to always “LOOK BEFORE YOU LOCK” to prevent such dangerous situations.
