Chestnut Ridge Eruv Restoration: New York State Approves Repair of Scotland Hill Section

The Eruv of Monsey is thrilled to announce that they have received approval from New York State for the reinstallation of the eruv in the Scotland Hill section of Chestnut Ridge. After a temporary lapse in functionality over the past two Shabbosim, they are now on track to complete the necessary repairs by this Thursday.

This news comes as a follow-up to Monsey Scoop’s post about the eruv’s non-operational status in the area defined by Route 45, Garden States, Scotland Hill Road, and Red Schoolhouse Road.
