A driver suffered serious injuries Thursday morning after a car crashed into a school bus at the intersection of Scotland Hill Road and Scotland Road in Chestnut Ridge.
The crash occurred at approximately 8:00 a.m., and the driver was initially reported trapped inside the vehicle but was able to self-extricate before emergency responders arrived.
The injured driver was transported by Faist EMS to Nyack Hospital and later transferred to Westchester Medical Center for further treatment. Faist EMS, Rockland Paramedics, Ramapo Police, South Spring Valley Fire Department, and Monsey Fire Department all responded to the scene.
