Chestnut Ridge Deputy Mayor Chaim Rose and Local Officials Celebrate New Walking Path Connecting Haller Crescent and Jean Lane

Earlier today, Deputy Mayor of Chestnut Ridge Chaim Rose was joined by Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht and Rockland County Legislator Joel Friedman to celebrate the progress on a new walking trail connecting Haller Crescent and Jean Lane in Chestnut Ridge.

The trail, developed by the Town of Ramapo, is still under construction, with plans to add a footbridge soon, making it an exciting enhancement for the community.

For those curious about the furry companion in the photo, meet Chase, the Town of Ramapo’s beloved dog! Chase was happy to join the officials for a stroll along the scenic new path, adding to the cheerful atmosphere.

These efforts by the Town mark a significant step toward improving outdoor spaces for all residents, providing more opportunities to enjoy nature in Chestnut Ridge.
