Chaverim of Rockland NightWatch Rescues Unattended Vehicle in Overnight Emergency

At approximately 2:30AM on Thursday morning, Chaverim of Rockland’s NightWatch units swiftly responded to a vehicle that had slid out of a driveway onto the roadway on West Maple Avenue. Upon arrival, responders discovered that no one was home at the residence where the vehicle had originated.

With the assistance of the Ramapo Police Department, the vehicle’s owner was located in Chestnut Ridge, and the situation was safely secured.

Chaverim of Rockland’s NightWatch program operates with two-member teams working in shifts from 12:30 AM to 6:30 AM, six nights a week. These dedicated volunteers remain on standby, ready to respond at a moment’s notice to assist the community with emergencies throughout the night.
