In a bold daytime robbery, three individuals targeted the local Nanuet Apple Store, stealing cell phones and more electronics leaving the premises in chaos. The incident occurred just after 2 p.m. on Tuesday, drawing an immediate investigation by the Clarkstown Police Department.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing three Black males in their 20s, clad in dark attire, making a beeline for the store moments before the robbery. The suspects were later observed escaping the scene in a newer model grey BMW, last seen heading towards Middletown Road in Nanuet.
Adding a new twist to the case, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Clarkstown Police received a call reporting two bags filled with electronics abandoned at a nearby location. Upon investigation, authorities confirmed these items were part of the haul stolen from the Apple Store.
The discovery of the stolen electronics has provided a significant lead in the investigation, as Clarkstown Police work diligently to track down the perpetrators. The department is appealing to the public for any information that could assist in the apprehension of the suspects involved in this audacious theft.
