Camp Fun welcomed community leaders, law enforcement, and emergency personnel for its annual Ramapo Day on Monday, giving campers the opportunity to meet local officials and learn more about the agencies that serve the community.
Among those in attendance were New York State Senator Bill Weber, New York State Assemblyman Aron Wieder, Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht, Town of Ramapo Chief of Staff Mona Montal, members of the Ramapo Police Department, Chaverim of Rockland, and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office.
The annual visit has become a Camp Fun tradition, bringing together elected officials, first responders, and community organizations for a morning of interaction and appreciation. Campers had the opportunity to meet the visitors, learn about the important roles they play in serving the Town of Ramapo and Rockland County, and enjoy a memorable day filled with fun and community spirit.
