Body Found in Water at Nyack Marina, Rockland County – Orangetown Police Investigating

On Sunday, July 30, at approximately 2:45 p.m., an incident took place at Nyack Marina in Nyack, Rockland County.

The Orangetown Police were alerted to a body discovered in the water near the boat launch. Capt. Michael Shannon, from the Orangetown Police, confirmed that the female’s body was retrieved by firefighters and pronounced dead at the scene.

The Orangetown Police Detective Bureau is currently handling the investigation, and the woman’s identity will not be disclosed until her next of kin is notified.
