A beautiful Mesubas Lechaim was held at the home of the Belzer Dayan, HaRav Betzalel Tovia Wettenstein Shlita, marking the release of the long-awaited sefer Mikroei Kodesh, dedicated to halachos for Rockland Hatzoloh volunteers.
The gathering was attended by Hatzoloh leadership and generous donors who supported the project. The sefer compiles halachos relevant to Hatzoloh volunteers on Shabbos, Yom Tov, and other daily situations such as hefsek during davening. It reflects the psakim of the Belzer Dayan Shlita as well as guidance from earlier rabbanim of the community.
This monumental work has been in development for over 15 years, and was updated to include practical questions and answers that Hatzoloh members have asked over the years. During the Mesubas Lechaim, the Belzer Dayan delivered words of inspiration, emphasizing the sacred responsibility of a Hatzoloh volunteer and the importance of carrying out their life-saving work in full accordance with halacha.
The Dayan extended heartfelt brachos to all those present and to the Hatzoloh volunteers, expressing his hope that in the merit of Shmiras Shabbos, the Hatzoloh volunteers and the entire community should be gebentched with a gmar chasima tova and all good things.
Copies of the new sefer will now be distributed to Rockland Hatzoloh membership ahead of Yom Kippur and Sukkos, ensuring that every volunteer has access to this important halachic resource. The distribution comes just days after Rockland Hatzoloh members participated in a special Hilchos Shabbos shiur in preparation for Yom Tov, as previously reported by Monsey Scoop here.

RABBI YECHESKEL WEISS SHLITA is the mechaber of the Sefer..
