Monsey Scoop regrets to inform you of the sudden Petira of Reb Meir Taub, Z”L, at the age of 65. A longtime resident of Monsey, Reb Meir dedicated many years to serving as the administrator of Viznitzer mosdos in Boro Park. His son, Nachman Taub, serves as the Gabbai of the current Viznitzer Rebbe of Monsey.
The tragic incident occurred on Motzei Shabbos when Reb Meir suffered a sudden cardiac arrest at his home. Rockland Hatzolah paramedics responded swiftly and made every effort to revive him, but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful.
