Tragedy struck on Wednesday evening with the sudden Petira of Mrs. Leah Chaya Esther Weiss A”H, who suffered an aneurysm and was niftar just hours later despite extensive rescue efforts.
The Nifteres A”H, a 50-year-old vibrant and healthy mother, was the daughter of Reb Yitzchok Shimon Ostreicher, Skvere Rosh Hakol in Yerushalayim. She was the devoted wife of Reb Yechezkel Shraga Weiss. The nifteres resided in Monsey for many years before recently relocating to Boro Park.
The Levaya will take place tonight at Beis HaLevayos in Boro Park, 3911 Fort Hamilton Parkway, at 11:15 PM, followed by another levaya in Monsey at Ohr Yosef Yampoleh Shul, 32 College Road, at approximately 12:15 AM. Kevurah will take place at Skvere Beis Hachaim in New Square.
