BD”E: Petirah Of Rabbi Nochum Frankel Z”l, Longtime Mechanech And Talmid Chochom

Monsey Scoop regrets to inform you of the petirah of Rabbi Nochum Frankel z”l, a talmid chochom and beloved mechanech, at the age of 75.

Rabbi Frankel z”l, was known for his years of dedication to chinuch habanos, having served for many years as a mechanech at Bais Yaakov of Monsey, where he impacted countless talmidos with his warmth and sincerity.

Together with his aishes chayil, Mrs. Henny Frankel ybl”c, they were also the founders and directors of the Professional Computer Training Center in Monsey, which they operated for many years, providing valuable skills and support to the community.

Although Rabbi Frankel and his wife relocated to Lakewood, they continued to maintain strong ties to Monsey, regularly commuting in order to continue operating their school and remaining involved in the kehillah they called home for decades.

The levayah is scheduled to take place on Sunday morning at 11:30 AM at the Lakewood Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue, followed by kevurah in the adjacent bais hachaim.

The family will be sitting shiva at 551 Bennington in Lakewood (The Enclave) from Sunday through Friday. Shacharis 8 am, Mincha 7:10, Maariv 7:40. Visitors are requested to come only between the hours of 10am-7pm and 8pm-10pm.
