Monsey Scoop regrets to inform you of the Petira of Reb Naftula Goldklang Z”L, a prominent Skverer Chosid, who was niftar over Shabbos at the age of 73 following an illness he had been battling for the past several years.
Reb Naftula Z”L was a longtime Melamed in the Skverer Cheder in Williamsburg, where he spent many years devoted to the chinuch of generations of talmidim.
He leaves behind a distinguished family of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who continue his legacy of Torah, chesed and dedication to the community.
Among his children are Reb Yaakov Yosef Goldklang, New Square Ershte Hilf Coordinator and well-known Skverer Askan; Reb Avrohom Pinchas Goldklang, a community Askan, board member of Hatzoloh of New Square, and operator of Skverer Butcher; as well as his sons Yitzchok, Aron and Baruch, and his daughters.
The Levaya will take place at the Skverer Beis HaMedrish in New Square at 1:00 AM Motzei Shabbos.
