Monsey Scoop regrets to inform you of the Petira of Mrs. Zissel Farkas A”H, she was 98 years old.
The Nifteres, the wife of Reb Chaim Farkas Z”L, was a Holocaust survivor, having endured the horrors of Auschwitz. She went on to live a long life, blessed with many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, many of whom reside in Monsey.
The Levaya will take place at the Viznitzer Shul in Montreal, Canada, at 12:30 PM, followed by another levaya at the Viznitzer Monsey Shul, located at 25 Phyllis Terrace, at approximately 7 PM. Kevura will be held at the Viznitzer Beis Hachaim.
