Monsey Scoop regrets to inform you of the petira of Mrs. Miriam Szmidt a”h, a longtime Monsey resident who recently moved to Lakewood to be near her children and grandchildren. She was 75.
Mrs. Szmidt a”h is survived by her children – R’ Yitzchok Uri, R’ Nachum, R’ Shneur, Mrs. Ziva Altman, and Mrs. Adina Haldorson – as well as numerous grandchildren, including noted askan R’ Eli Szmidt.
The levaya will take on Wednesday afternoon in Lakewood. Levaya details to be published once announced.
