Monsey Scoop regrets to inform you of the Petira of HaRav Chaim Elozer Brandsdorfer Z”L at the age of 86.
A longtime resident of Monsey, HaRav Brandsdorfer Z”L was a respected figure within the community. He was a devoted Toldos Avrohom Yitzchok Chosid and, before that, a follower of the previous Toldos Aharon Rebbe ZT”L.
He was also the younger brother of the esteemed Hagoen HaRav Meir Brandsdorfer ZT”L, who served as a member of the Rabbinical Court of the Edah HaChareidis.
The Levaya will take place on Monday morning at 8:20 AM at the Skvere Tahrah Shtibel, followed by another Levaya at his home, 101 Adar Court, at 8:45 AM. It will then proceed to Toldos Avrohom Yitzchok Beis HaMedrish at 20 Westside Avenue at 9:00 AM, and at 10:15 AM, the Mita will pass through the Toldos Avrohom Yitzchok Beis HaMedrish at 21 Park Lane (Nitra Shul). From there, the Mita will be flown to Eretz Yisroel for the Kevura in Har Hazeisim, in the chelkas of Shomrei Emunim and the Divrei Emunah Rebbe’s, ZT”L.
