Bais Yaakov D’Rav Hirsch, a distinguished local high school for girls, is preparing for an exciting educational excursion to the New York State Capitol in Albany. As part of the trip’s preparations, students were treated to a special visit on Monday from Senator Bill Weber, who represents the 38th Senate District, and his communications director Mordy Becker.
During the visit, Senator Weber and his staff shared valuable insights into the roles and responsibilities of a state senator and the crucial work performed by their team behind the scenes. The engaging session aimed to enhance the students’ understanding of the legislative process and the importance of civic engagement.
