Firefighters from the Hillcrest Fire Department, assisted by the New City Fire Department and Ramapo Police, responded to a reported structure fire at a residence on Stella Drive at approximately 3:50 a.m. Responders determined the source of the fire was an attic fan. Crews acted quickly to bring the situation under control, preventing further damage. No injuries were immediately reported.
