New York State Assemblymen Pat Carroll and Aron Wieder visited Rabbi and Rebbetzin Ehrenreich at Chabad of Nyack on Friday to express solidarity following a disturbing harassment incident.
Assembly Member Carroll stated, “We must understand each other and spread love, not hate, in Rockland County.” Assembly Member Wieder added, “We proudly accept the Ehrenreichs’ challenge to promote love, understanding, and inclusion throughout our community. Light will always prevail over hate.”
Joining the show of support, Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh also visited Rabbi Ehrenreich, reaffirming his commitment to protecting all communities and ensuring accountability in the wake of the harassment. His visit underscored the seriousness with which law enforcement is addressing the incident.
During the visit, the assembly members discussed initiatives to foster community inclusivity. Rabbi Ehrenreich expressed gratitude, stating, “This support strengthens our community’s resilience and commitment to unity.”
