On Wednesday, Assemblyman Aron Wieder joined the Town of Ramapo’s Safety Expo Extravaganza at Clover Stadium in Pomona, The event featured booths from Ramapo Police Department, Chaverim of Rockland, Hatzoloh EMS, Spring Hill EMS, Faist EMS, and Rockland County Health, Aging, and Social Services, highlighting community safety and support.
Wieder discussed traffic enforcement with Ramapo PD, praised Chaveirim’s emergency response efforts, and thanked Hatzalah, Spring Hill, and Faist EMS for their life-saving work. He reviewed Ramapo’s pedestrian safety plan, addressing high pedestrian-traffic injury rates with new crosswalks and stop signs. At the county booths, he explored health, aging, and social service resources.
