Assemblyman Aron Wieder Kicks Off 2026 Legislative Session in Albany

Assemblyman Aron Wieder (D-97th District, Rockland County) began the new legislative session with productive discussions alongside fellow legislators on key priorities for New Yorkers.

Throughout the day, Wieder engaged in concise meetings focused on this year’s critical topics, including affordability, public safety, infrastructure, energy costs, and housing.

“I’m committed to fighting for real solutions that lower costs, strengthen our communities, and working hard to bring back more funding for the district,” said Assemblyman Wieder. “Together, we’ll deliver results for Rockland County families and all New Yorkers.”
