Community leaders and local politicians gathered on Thursday morning to celebrate the grand opening of Assemblyman Aron Wieder’s district office at 1 Blue Hill Plaza, Suite 1116 in Pearl River. The event marked a significant milestone for the 97th Assembly District, emphasizing its diverse and inclusive community.
During the ceremony, Assemblyman Wieder highlighted the strength and unity of the district, noting the presence of individuals from all backgrounds, races, religions, and ethnicities. “Today’s opening ceremony is a testament to the true strength of the 97th Assembly District,” Wieder told Monsey Scoop. “We have people from all walks of life—town and village officials, members of the Rockland Community College board, African Americans, Jewish, Latino, Haitian, Indian, and women leaders—all coming together in unity.”
Wieder expressed his commitment to serving the community with dedication and meeting the high expectations set by his constituents. “I hope to live up to their high expectations, and I have no doubt that with my wonderful staff, we will be able to do just that,” he said.
