New York State Assemblyman Aron Wieder recently made a short personal visit to Eretz Yisroel. During the trip, he visited the kevorim of several great tzaddikim, davening on behalf of his family, friends, and his constituents. Highlights included Davening at the kever of the Bas Ayin (Rabbi Avraham Dov of Avritch) on his yahrzeit, as well as the kevorim of the AriZal in Tzfas, Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai (the Rashbi) and his son in Meron, and the Belzer Rav in Jerusalem.
Assemblyman Wieder was also granted the special zechus of hagbahas hakos during Havdalah at the Belzer Rebbe’s shul. The Rebbe personally wished him continued hatzlacha in all his klal work.
