A violent assault occurred Saturday night around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Airmont Road and Route 59. Emergency personnel from Faist EMS and the Ramapo Police Department rushed to the scene, where the victim was found with serious injuries. The individual was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for urgent medical care.
Sources tell Monsey Scoop that the suspect fled the scene immediately following the attack. However, Ramapo Police tracked down the individual and placed them under arrest a short time later.
