AIRMONT: Vehicle Crashes Into Pole at Monsey Heights and New County Intersection, Causing Road Closure

Emergency personnel are at the scene of an MVA at the intersection of Monsey Heights Road and New County Road, where a vehicle crashed into a pole at approximately 8:30AM Thursday morning, bringing it down entirely.

Hatzoloh EMS, Ramapo Police, and the Monsey Fire Department are on the scene managing the situation. Injuries have been reported.

The intersection has been closed to traffic as crews work to address the damage. Orange and Rockland Utilities have been dispatched to repair the downed pole and restore safety to the area. Motorists are advised to avoid the intersection and seek alternate routes.
