The Village of Airmont has announced the resignation of Trustee Isaac Weiss from the Village Board.
Village officials thanked Weiss for his years of dedicated service and commitment to the residents of Airmont, noting that while he is stepping down from his official position, he will continue serving the community in other meaningful ways.
The Village also announced the appointment of Yehuda Zorger as the newest Airmont Village Trustee. A longtime community activist in Airmont and throughout Rockland County, Zorger has been actively involved in advocating for local residents on a wide range of community issues.
Village officials welcomed Zorger to the board and expressed confidence that his experience and dedication will serve the residents of Airmont well, while wishing him much success in his new role.
