AIRMONT: Ramapo Police and Chaverim of Rockland Investigating Car Break-Ins – Chaverim PSA {VIDEO}

Ramapo Police Department and Chaverim of Rockland are investigating a series of car break-ins that have occurred over the past several nights in the Airmont area. Video footage shows a trio of suspects believed to be responsible for the incidents. In response, both organizations have ramped up patrols during the early morning hours.

Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately by calling 911 and Chaverim’s 24-hour emergency hotline at 845-371-6333.

In a public service announcement, Chaverim highlighted the importance of locking vehicles to prevent theft. A video shared by the organization showed an instance where a locked car successfully deterred the suspects.

“This simple yet crucial step can make a big difference in keeping our neighborhoods safe,” Chaverim emphasized. “If you see something, say something.”
