AAA Wholesale Distributors Donates Four Pallets of Food to Support Rockland Families

– Four pallets of food were donated to TOUCH – Together Our Unity Can Heal on Tuesday morning, thanks to the generosity of AAA Wholesale Distributors Corp.

The donation event took place in the front driveway of the Rockland County Office Building, where a truck from TOUCH arrived to collect the food as part of the ongoing Countywide Donation Drive. TOUCH Executive Director Julian Palmer was on-site to receive the donation.

County Executive Ed Day and Congressman Mike Lawler both attended the event to personally thank AAA Wholesale Distributors for stepping up to help local families in need. AAA was represented by Tariq Almontaser, the owner’s brother, and Al Alaadeen Almontaser, the owner’s son.

County Facilities Department staff were also present, assisting with unloading using a pallet jack and forklift.

The initiative was coordinated by County Executive Ed Day, Deputy County Executive Mike Hoblin, Congressman Lawler, United Way of Rockland County, and TOUCH, all working together to strengthen community support for struggling families across Rockland County.

“Partnerships like these show the best of Rockland,” said County Executive Day. “We’re grateful to AAA Wholesale Distributors and all our partners who continue to help make a difference.”
