$9.6 Million Richer: Winning New York Lotto Ticket Purchased in Suffern

A fortunate lottery player has hit the jackpot in Rockland County. The winning New York Lotto ticket for the Saturday, Sept. 2 drawing was sold at Yas Quickmart on Route 59 in Suffern, according to lottery officials.

The winning numbers for this draw were 13-37-40-45-47-52 with a Bonus Number of 9. To secure the jackpot, players must match all six numbers, which are drawn from a selection ranging between one and 59.

The manager of Yas Quickmart mentioned that there’s been a surge in customers checking their tickets at the store since the announcement. However, the lucky winner hasn’t shown up yet. “We’re eagerly awaiting the winner due to all the excitement,” he expressed.

Those who missed this drawing can tune in to the New York Lotto drawings, broadcasted every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:15 p.m. If you think you’re the lucky winner, don’t procrastinate too long. Winners are given up to one year from the date of the drawing to stake their claim.
