28 9-1-1 Supervisors and Administrators Complete Center Manager Certification Program at Rockland County Fire Training Center

Yesterday, a total of twenty-eight supervisors and administrators from eighteen 9-1-1 centers spanning four states gathered at the Rockland County Fire Training Center in Pomona for the Center Manager Certification Program (CMCP) organized by the Communications Division.

This program, known as the gold standard for 9-1-1 center administrators and 9-1-1 authority directors, provided valuable training and certification.

Paul Hicks, ENP, an instructor representing NENA (National Emergency Number Association), led the program, and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office warmly welcomed him and colleagues from across the nation. The event emphasized the importance of continuous training and development in leadership.
