20 Firearms Turned In at Successful Spring Valley Gun Buyback Event

A community gun buyback event held in Spring Valley concluded successfully, with 20 firearms turned in by local residents. The initiative, aimed at reducing the number of unwanted or potentially dangerous weapons in the community, was held in partnership with the Spring Valley Police Department, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, and the New York State Police.

All firearms collected during the event will be safely destroyed, ensuring they do not end up on the streets of Rockland County or any other community.

Officials praised the cooperation and turnout from residents and emphasized the importance of continued efforts to promote public safety through proactive measures like this buyback.
